Covid-19 Safety Measures

Thanks so much for choosing to stay with us. For over 50 years, we have been welcoming people through our doors and cleanliness and hygiene have always been a part of our daily routines. Covid-19 has amplified our ‘Commitment to Clean’ and our renewed protocols are world class.
Your safety is always top of mind for us. You can rest assured we have heightened our longstanding cleaning protocols. For high-traffic areas such as the front desk, fitness centre, and high-touch surfaces throughout the hotel, using hospital-grade disinfectant approved to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Following the Newfoundland & Labrador public health guidelines face masks are required in the common areas of our hotel.
Changes To Housekeeping
In keeping with changes in the hotel industry we’ve redesigned our housekeeping program. To promote an uninterrupted stay and give guests more options. We are providing housekeeping services upon request for shorter visits and after every third night during longer stays. We welcome you to call the front desk to request more frequent housekeeping or ask for additional towels, toiletries and linens when needed.
Government of Newfoundland & Labrador Regulations
As of October 22nd, 2021, as per the Government of Newfoundland & Labrador regulations we require proof that anyone over the age of 12 is fully vaccinated to:
- Dine-in at our in-house restaurant
- Use our fitness centre
- Access our meeting rooms
Vaccinations are not required to stay at our hotel.
Physical Distancing: All public areas utilize appropriate signage to ensure we respect the space of others.
Hand Sanitizer: Stations are strategically placed around the hotel for the use of guests and our team.
Training: We are proud to say that 100% of our team has been COVID-19 trained and they know, understand and respect the protocols we have put in palace.
Cleaning and Sanitation products: We use premium commercial cleaning and disinfecting products throughout our hotels to ensure our premises are clean and properly sanitized.
Public Areas and Guest Rooms: We are using the very best in technology, spraying public areas after use and guest rooms upon check to ensure that all surfaces are sanitized.
Restaurants: Commercial dishwashers keep all of our dishware, glasses and cutlery sanitized. Additional protocols in our food service areas all work to ensure your protection is paramount.
